I’m working for a small startup with 2 frontends and me as a designer who knows some code. We are building an application that has very custom UI elements which don’t exist in React Material UI, just imagine something similar to a video editor. We did some modifications to the theme (easy) but we would like to change some paddings and font sizes for MUI (if they don’t break things)
What is the best approach? I am seeing lots of problems with the storybook with MUI reported on stackoverflow and github.
I saw one successful project with the implementation of many components using react styleguidist. https://github.com/mariav7/frontend-stage-reactjs
What’s the best way to approach this? we are not going to fully follow custom design ,but we want to see how global changes will affect native components as we change things, we are doing in a separate design token json file, as well see new components
